“…Or Glory”

The pocket square isn’t new. But it is making a grand reentry into the sartorial minds of men around the globe.

High fashion isn’t new. But it is reemerging as something to be desired as the flannel and skinny jeans of the hipsters go the way of the 1990’s double pleat.

Dating back to 1880, Barker Black has seen it fair share of trends come and go. But, it is safe to say, their high standard of craftsmanship has stood the test of time.  The core collection is inspired by a legendary British regiment of Guardsman, the 17th Lancers, whose skull and cross bones logo carries with it their motto of “…Or Glory,” and is the core of Barker Black’s subversive attitude: Death or Glory.

We received their signature Logo Dot Pocket Square and were immediately impressed. The vividness of the colors and the exceptionalness of the silk from Italy leapt from the box. Tucking neatly into a ruffle fold, we’ve been turning heads on the streets of Manhattan this morning and can confirm that this square, and we’d assume the rest of the Barker Black line, have avoided death and found it’s way to glory.
